About Us
Who We Are
Onurube Nwanne Agbalaoso USA is a nonprofit organization founded by members of the Igbo diaspora in the United States, united by a shared commitment to uplift our people, promote cultural identity, and drive meaningful change in our communities — both at home and abroad.
Rooted in the Igbo principle of “Onurube Nwanne Agbalaoso” — which means “Do not ignore your brother’s cry for help” — we exist to serve, support, and strengthen one another through unity, service, and progress.
What We Stand For
We believe in the power of community, the richness of heritage, and the importance of solidarity. Our programs and initiatives reflect our commitment to:
Community Development – Providing small business grants, educational support, and capacity-building resources
Cultural Preservation – Promoting Igbo traditions, language, and identity through events, media, and learning
Charity & Outreach – Giving back through health drives, food distribution, scholarships, and emergency assistance
Global Connection – Bridging the gap between the Igbo community in the U.S. and our brothers and sisters in Nigeria and beyond
Our Journey
What began as a simple idea among like-minded individuals has grown into a movement — a vibrant, action-oriented community organization impacting lives, igniting hope, and preserving a legacy for generations to come.
We are proud of our roots. We are driven by purpose. And we are committed to making a lasting difference.

Become a part of a growing force for good.
Together, we rise. Together, we thrive.
We started extending help to needy families and youths who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged families and children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.
To build a united, empowered, and spiritually community through service, faith, and education
